Public holidays are entered from the pay's Leave Taken screen when the employee is being paid for a public holiday.
- Edit the pay and open Leave Taken.
- Add a leave row and choose Public Holiday.
- Enter the public holiday date.
- Enter the quantity, rate, and total amount that apply to the employee's relevant daily pay or average daily pay calculation.
- Save the row and check the pay totals.
The employee's work pattern and hours per working day help determine whether the date is an otherwise working day and how day/hour conversions should be handled.
