Use the termination workflow to calculate final holiday pay and any additional termination amounts.
- Open the employee's final pay and choose the termination option.
- Enter the employment finish date.
- Review the calculated annual holidays and alternative holidays payout amounts.
- Add any payment in lieu, redundancy, or additional termination amount if applicable.
- Check the year-to-date taxable amount and final pay tax calculation before completing the pay.
If the calculated leave payout needs to be overridden, tick Enter leave amounts manually and enter the payout amounts yourself. Review the employee's Historic Pay and Leave Entitlement Adjustments first, because those records feed the final leave valuation.
