Answer
The online (web/mobile) app automatically saves a snapshot of your data before every restore or sync. If you restore a backup and then realise you need to go back to how things looked before that restore, use the Revert Last Restored Backup tool.
How to revert
- From the main menu, select Tools >> Revert Last Restored Backup.
- The screen shows the date and time of the snapshot that was taken before your last restore or sync. Confirm this is the state you want to return to.
- Read the warning: any changes made to the current database since the restore will be lost.
- Click Yes, let's revert to proceed. The app restores the snapshot and returns you to the entity selection screen.

When this tool is not available
If the screen shows There is no backup on file that can be reverted back to, no pre-restore snapshot exists. This typically means either no restore has been performed in the current session, or the snapshot has already been used.
Important notes
- This tool is available in the online (web/mobile) app only. There is no equivalent tool in the desktop app.
- Only one pre-restore snapshot is kept. After reverting, the snapshot is consumed and the option will no longer be available until your next restore or sync.
