Answer
Once you have paid for your subscription — whether monthly or annual — you will receive an invoice to your registered email address along with a new Subscription ID.
Desktop App
To install your new licence in the Lightning Payroll desktop app, go to Tools >> Licence Assistant. The Licence Assistant wizard will open with an Online Licence Install page.
- Enter your registered Email Address.
- Enter your Subscription ID.
- Click Download Licence. The assistant will contact the Lightning Payroll server and download your licence file.
- Once the download succeeds, click Install to apply the new licence.
The wizard will confirm that your licence has been installed and display your expiry date and subscription details. You can then close the assistant and continue using the program.
Online (Web/Mobile) App
If you use the Lightning Payroll web or mobile app, your subscription is applied automatically when you log in. There is no Subscription ID to enter — your account is linked to your subscription on our system.
