The standard cash-up limit is one week from the minimum four-week annual holidays entitlement in each entitlement year. Lightning Payroll's Cash Up Annual Holidays action is designed around that limit.
If the employee receives more than four weeks because of an employment agreement, the extra contractual weeks may have different cash-up rules. Do not force that through the statutory cash-up action if it does not fit. Pay or adjust the extra entitlement according to the employer's policy and keep a clear record.
Cash-up requests should be written and should be recorded with the pay and leave ledger.
