Annual holidays are granted on the employee's annual holidays anniversary. The standard entitlement is stored in weeks under Leave Settings.
Before the anniversary, the balance breakdown can show a projected amount building toward the next anniversary. On or after the anniversary, the entitlement becomes a pending grant item. Complete the pay and Lightning Payroll will materialise anniversary grants for that pay period.
The grant schedule in Balance Breakdown shows whether each grant is pending or already inserted. If the employee's start date, anniversary, or opening balance is wrong, fix those details before completing the pay.
