For a Mondayised or Tuesdayised public holiday, decide which observed date applies to the employee before entering the pay.
- If the holiday is observed on Monday or Tuesday for that employee, enter the Public Holiday row on the observed date.
- If the employee normally works the actual weekend date and the holiday is not transferred for them, use the actual date.
- Do not pay both the actual date and the observed date as public holidays for the same entitlement.
The employee's work pattern, roster, and otherwise-working-day decision are the key checks.
