Before 12 months' continuous employment, the employee may not yet have an entitled Annual Holidays balance, unless leave is taken in advance or a closedown/final-pay rule applies.
- Do not insert old anniversary grants manually just because projected annual holidays are visible.
- If annual holidays are taken in advance, enter the Annual Holidays row in the pay and keep the employer agreement on record.
- If employment ends before 12 months, use the termination workflow to calculate the required holiday pay.
- If a closedown occurs before entitlement, follow the closedown rules and record the chosen treatment clearly.
