Long Service Leave is available as a pay-row leave type, but it is not part of the core statutory Annual Holidays, Sick Leave, or Alternative Holidays ledger.
Use Long Service in Leave Taken when the employment agreement, award-like arrangement, or company policy requires the employer to pay it. Enter the date, unit, quantity, and the Rate p/hr; the Total Amount is read-only and recalculates automatically from the rate.
If the employer wants to track an ongoing long service balance, use Custom Leave Accruals for the custom entitlement rather than changing the statutory leave settings.
