Record an alternative holiday earned from the employee's leave ledger, not from the pay's Leave Taken screen.
- Open Employees >> Leave >> Leave Entitlement Adjustments.
- Select Add Manual Adjustment.
- Choose Alternative Holiday.
- Enter the number of days earned as a positive quantity.
- Enter the date and a note explaining why the alternative holiday was earned.
- Save the adjustment.
When the employee later takes the alternative holiday, enter it in the pay under Leave Taken. That leave row deducts the day from the Alternative Holiday balance.
