Leave balances are held in native units rather than Australian-style hours. Annual Holidays are shown in weeks. Sick leave and Alternative Holidays are shown in days.
Open Employees >> Leave >> Leave Entitlement Adjustments >> Balance Breakdown, or use How is this balance calculated? on the pay's Leave Balances screen.
The breakdown shows
- Annual Holidays balance and any projected amount building toward the next anniversary.
- Sick Leave balance, including the accrued amount before the carry-over cap and the carry-over limit applied.
- Alternative Holiday balance.
- Anniversary information, including start date, last anniversary, next annual holidays anniversary, and next sick leave anniversary.
- Grant schedule, showing grants that are pending or already inserted.
If a balance needs correcting, add a manual adjustment under Leave Entitlement Adjustments. The Leave Balances screen inside a pay is read-only for these leave balances.
