Answer
Annual Holidays are stored in weeks, but the pay screen often starts from hours or days taken. The web app uses the employee's ordinary hours per week and hours per working day to convert the entry at the time the leave is paid.
If ordinary hours per week later changes, do not expect old completed pays to recalculate to the new divisor. Completed leave rows should keep the quantity and valuation that applied when the pay was completed.
- Update Employees >> Leave >> Leave Settings for future pays.
- Review the completed pay and the employee's leave balance.
- If the old pay was wrong, process a correction pay or add a manual leave adjustment in Leave Entitlement Adjustments.
- Do not manually edit historic pay rows just to force a different divisor.
