When editing a pay, the Leave Taken screen offers the leave types supported by the payroll calculation.
- Annual Holidays: can be entered in weeks, days, or hours.
- Alternative Holiday: can be entered in days or hours.
- Sick: can be entered in days or hours.
- Bereavement, Family Violence, Public Holiday, Long Service, and Unpaid: enter the date, quantity, rate, and amount that apply.
The unit you choose controls the balance deduction. Annual Holidays deduct from a weeks-based balance, while Sick and Alternative Holiday balances are day-based. Lightning Payroll converts hours using the employee's standard hours and work pattern where needed.
