Answer
Incomplete Historic Pay coverage means Lightning Payroll may not have enough earnings data to support AWE or OWP checks for annual holidays, cash-up, or final pay.
- Open Employees >> Leave >> Historic Pay.
- Check the coverage percentage, weeks with earnings data, AWE per week, OWP per week, and date range.
- Import or correct missing gross earnings before relying on the valuation.
- If the pay must be completed before data is corrected, document the employer's external calculation and manually override the leave row or termination amount.
Support should treat incomplete Historic Pay as a valuation risk, not just a display warning.
