Use this support checklist before escalating a leave balance issue.
- The company is set to New Zealand and the employee has leave enabled.
- Start date, termination date, and rehire history are correct.
- Leave Settings show the correct Annual holidays per year (weeks), Pay annual holidays as you go status, NZ sick leave qualifying period (months), NZ sick leave carryover cap (days), Ordinary hours per week, Hours per working day, and work pattern.
- Historic Pay coverage is complete for the relevant valuation period.
- Balance Breakdown shows grants as Pending or Inserted as expected.
- Manual adjustments have clear dates, units, quantities, and notes.
- Pay rows use the correct leave type, date, unit, quantity, and rate.
