Record an Alternative Holiday earned when the employee worked on a public holiday that was otherwise a working day, or where an on-call public holiday creates that entitlement.
- Open Employees >> Leave >> Leave Entitlement Adjustments.
- Select Add Manual Adjustment.
- Choose Alternative Holiday.
- Enter 1 day for a full alternative holiday unless the employer has a different legally supported treatment.
- Add the public holiday date and a note such as Alternative holiday earned for working Labour Day.
When the employee later takes the alternative holiday, enter Alternative Holiday in the pay's Leave Taken screen.
